<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell wants you as a user to be confident that we safeguard your privacy and process all personal data in accordance with the legislation.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Personal information</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">To use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, telephone number and e-mail. <br />In order to register an order, information about the time of hire and what equipment has been reserved/ordered must also be stored. There is an age limit of 18 for using the service, and you must therefore also state your year of birth. <br />When using the service, your order history is saved. This personal data is used to deliver the service to you. This personal information is stored as long as you are registered as a user with us. The personal data we have registered is available and can be changed on your page, which you can find inside the online booking service after logging in. <br />You can also contact us and request that we remove your personal data or be deregistered from our systems. You will then no longer be able to use the service unless you register again.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Personal data to third parties</h2>
<p>Barnas Karusell AS will not sell, exchange or pass on your personal data. The online booking is handled in a system provided by <a href="https://sharefox.no/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sharefox</a> from Tooler AS.</p>
<h2>Payment information</h2>
<p>When you order, your card information is stored with the payment provider DIBS to handle your order. DIBS stores the information in a safe and secure manner and is PCI certified. This enables us to handle changes to orders, cancellation of reservations such as deposits, crediting, additional costs incurred by the user (due to late submission, damage or the like), as well as reducing misuse and waste. <br />Transaction information is stored related to your order, but not the card information. Transaction information will be stored as long as you are registered as a user of the service, cf. section on personal information.</p>
<h2>Use of collected information</h2>
<p>The personal information collected for these purposes includes both information you provide yourself (name, email address, etc.) and information collected through use of the service, such as which equipment you rent and information about location and technical information about your device and internet connection.&nbsp;<br />The personal information may be supplemented with available information from third-party actors.</p>
<h2>Information cookies</h2>
<p>When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and collect data. For example, we use cookies to remember rental dates and equipment. Cookies facilitate the use of the service and to provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. <br />They are also used to temporarily store data such as available rental dates, prices and the like.<br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" /><br style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;" />Through server logs and other tools, we can record information about the device and the connection to our service, including operating system, browser version, IP address, cookies and unique identification files. This information is used in anonymous and aggregated statistics, but can also be linked to your user account. <br />Among other things, the information allows us to adapt the display of our service to the device you are using.</p>

<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell AS, Armauer Hansens gate 17, Oslo, registered office no 926 441 221, operates a rental service where consumers can rent baby clothes with a monthly subscription. The service offers pick-ups at Karusell HQ or home delivery.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">1 General</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">These terms apply to the rental of goods and services from www.karusell.no to consumers. The terms and conditions, together with your order, will constitute an overall agreement for the purchase.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">2 Definition of parties</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The landlord is: Barnas Karusell and is hereinafter referred to as we, us, the landlord or Barnas Karusell.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The tenant is: the person stated as the tenant in the order, and is referred to in the following as the tenant, the customer, you, you, your or your.<br />Orders can only be made by persons who are at least eighteen (18) years old or have parental consent, or legal entities. A representative of the legal entity should be able to show documentation showing authority to sign on behalf of the firm and commit to these terms.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Rental objects means the clothes and everything else that is rented out on karusell.no.<br />Delivery method/service points means delivery or handing in at Karusell or home delivery.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">3 Payment and prices</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Payment is made via Visa or Mastercard online via our payment method DIBS, which meets the strictest security requirements. The tenant pays when ordering and then the rental agreement is recognized as having been entered into.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">All prices include 25% VAT. The total cost of the purchase will appear before ordering and will include all expenses associated with rental or purchase.<br />We reserve the right to make price errors and price adjustments. If there has been a significant error with the prices on Barnas Karusell's side on the website, Barnas Karusell can unilaterally change, delete or reject orders even after the customer has received order confirmation or the like. However, such errors must be corrected and the customer informed within a reasonable time after the error has been discovered.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The service fee covers shipping both to you as a customer and then back to the company, laundry, minor repairs after the rental period and any loss as well as customer service.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">4 Condition of the rental property</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell undertakes to deliver high-quality rental properties in ready-to-use condition. Barnas Karusell has its own routines that check and maintain the rental objects before and after rental.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Our aim is to create a more sustainable way of dressing our children. Therefore, although we want your child to use them as much as possible and play as children should, it is important that you as the customer treat them carefully, follow the washing instructions and return them in as close to the condition as you received them as possible.<br />The clothes are washed on return and minor repairs are carried out if necessary, that is up to us. As a customer, you don't have to worry about accidental damage.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">If the tenant is unsure about how the rental product is handled, the tenant is responsible for contacting Barnas Karusell.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">5 Damages</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">It is not permitted to change or remove the labels.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">From the time the item is received, the customer is fully responsible for loss, destruction or damage to the product due to theft, disappearance, fire or other causes than normal wear and tear.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">If you return a package product with excessive damage or damage that exceeds reasonable wear and tear in such a way that the Company cannot repair it and therefore cannot rent it out again, as determined in Barnas Karusell's sole reasonable discretion, you agree that Barnas Karusell may charge the payment card for the full retail price of the product.<br />If a package product is lost, or otherwise not returned to Barnas Karusell, you agree that Barnas Karusell can charge the payment card for the full retail price of the product.<br /><br />All damages, theft or accidents that may occur during the rental period must be reported to hello@karusell.no immediately. We will then do our best to help the tenant.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">6 Handling of the rental object</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The lessor facilitates the correct use of the clothes by making user manuals and instructions available on the Karusell website. It is the customer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the Lessor's usage routines before using the clothes.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">7 Tenant's rights and obligations</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell sends messages to the specified e-mail, address and telephone, and such messages are considered received and valid when sent by us.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The user account is personal and if you suspect that others have access to your account, you must notify Barnas Karusell immediately. Barnas Karusell has the right to freely reject, terminate or suspend a user account without warning or liability, including if the terms are deemed to have been breached.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Furthermore, these rental terms must be accepted before ordering on the website.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The tenant can keep the rental object for as long as necessary. The tenant is expected to keep up to date on the service point's normal opening hours.<br />The tenant or cardholder authorizes Barnas Karusell to make credit card instructions for, among other things, the rental object after the third time that it is not returned, is dirty beyond normal or in the event of damage to the rental object.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Delay in returning the clothes for more than 1 - one - week in relation to the agreed rental period entitles the lessor to an extra NOK 300 to cover the additional costs Barnas Karusell incurs due to late return.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">8 Change of order</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">To change an order, Barnas Karusell must be contacted. The changes will not be valid until they have been confirmed in writing by us. This is to ensure that the rental properties are actually available. The rental period can be booked before the start of the rental period by changing the rental start date.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Order changes and cancellations of rental objects are free of charge.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">9 Delivery and return</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Delivery takes place in the manner, at the place and at the time indicated on the order confirmation. You can also find it under your page. In order to have the rental object handed over, you must have your booking reference. The name you enter on the reservation must match the name on the ID card upon collection.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">If the delivery of the rental objects is delayed, we will give you information as soon as we have knowledge of it, together with information about and possibly when delivery can take place, or if the rental object(s) are not available.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell uses Helthjem as a delivery service. When home delivery is selected, the tenant pays NOK 160 which includes delivery/collection (NOK 80 each way).</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">When the home delivery option is selected, "delivery date" refers to the day the rental product is packed and sent out.<br />When the collection option is selected, "delivery date" refers to when the rental product can be collected at Barnas Karusell HQ.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">10 Subscription</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The subscription is automatically renewed until terminated by the tenant. It ends on the account page by stopping the payment.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">11 Intellectual property rights</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">The content and the service are protected by the Copyright Act. Images and video material stored on the page have been obtained with the permission of the rights holders.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">12 Privacy</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell processes your personal information in a secure data register in order to be able to fulfill its obligations and safeguard its rights in accordance with the lease agreement. The personal data processed are name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and order history. This history will remain stored for accounting and other obligations. All stored information is available in "My account". The tenant has the right to have their personal data removed from the Lessor's systems, which is done by contacting Barnas Karusell in person.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Your payment card will be stored as long as you have an active order. The payment card is stored at our payment intermediary DIBS. They store the information in a safe and secure manner. Saving payment cards makes it even easier when shopping. You can delete payment cards on your page. Barnas Karusell does not store any credit card details itself.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell uses cookies, like most other online shops. Cookies store data in your browser so that the website can recognize you from page to page and visit to visit. We can then recognize who you are so that, among other things, you can get the correct prices and easier login. We also collect usage information to improve the quality of the service.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">You will find more detailed information about our practices related to privacy by accessing the help page's submenu. There you will find privacy as a separate orientation.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">13 Force Majeure</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell is not responsible for failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations according to these terms, where such failure or delay is due to a cause beyond Barnas Karusell's reasonable control. Such causes include, without limitation, fire, explosion, extreme weather, natural disaster, power outage and failure of internet service.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">14 Applicable law</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">These terms and conditions are subject to and must be interpreted in accordance with Norwegian law. The agreed venue is Oslo District Court.</p>
<h2 style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">15 Changes</h2>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">Barnas Karusell reserves the right to change or replace these terms and conditions at any time. Current terms and conditions are always available at karusell.no. If Barnas Karusell considers that the changes in the terms and conditions are significant in relation to the tenant's rights or obligations, the changes will be made available on karusell.no 10 days before they come into force.</p>
<p style="font-family: inherit; color: inherit;">By using the service after the changes to the terms have been made available on karusell.no, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If you do not wish to accept the new terms, you cannot use Barnas Karusell.</p>
