Hvalen som ville ha mer

'What matters most in life?'
Waldemar the whale is on the hunt, on the hunt for more. More treasures, more things, more of everything. He collects and collects, yet he still feels there's a hole that he can't fill up no matter how hard he tries. He is driven by a deep longing to get rid of that emptiness. But why doesn't he feel complete?
Together with Waldemar the whale, we go on an underwater journey to find an answer and this journey is beautifully illustrated by Jim Field. Field's style with many colorful details invites you to let your mind wander. The children keep finding new details every time they read the book and it's fun!
Rachel Bright, the author of the fantastic book "The Lion Inside," has this time written a super lovely story about one of the big questions: What matters most in life?
What we find on this journey is that it may not be things that make us happy or give us a full life, but sharing experiences with friends or simply being part of something.
But what makes his heart sing in the end?
Read the book if you want to find out - spoiler alert: it's not a thing =)
We're all Waldemar because don't we all have a bit of the same problem? We often feel that we need more. The topic of materialism and consumption hits our children at a young age. The latest toys are only cool for a short period, and often they want more and more. But think twice - that's not what's going to make them happy - it's being with family and friends and enjoying time together.
Waldemar has a very relevant message!
